Check for new version of Temporary Internet Files and History.

On  the General Tab, under Browsing History option, click on Settings and Select Automatically.

And also, make sure the Disk Space is not exceeding or below the limit. It should be 300MB Approximately and then click OK.

Check the number of days to keep History of browsed webpages.

Select Automatic

 Correct Security Settings

Click on the 2^nd tab, Security, and then make sure Internet is Selected. Now correct the Security Level for this Zone to Medium and then just click on Apply.

 Privacy Settings

Similarly, correct Security Settings to be Medium along with Pop-Up blocker Turned On.

 Website Content Control

Under the Content tab, In Content Option, click on Enable and then choose the website content you would like users to have access to.

Specifying Web Site Access

1.       Click the Approved Sites tab in the Content Advisor dialog box.

2.       Enter the Web site address you want to block or allow in the Allow this web site box.

3.       If you want to allow the Web site to be viewed, click the Always button. If you want to block the site, click the Never button. An entry for the site is created in the List of approved and disapproved web sites box.

4.       If you want to remove a site from the list, click that site in the List of approved and disapproved web sites box, and then click Remove.

Secured and Banking Website Certificate issue.

If you click Clear SSL State on the Content tab in the Internet Options dialog box, you can remove all client authentication certificates from the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cache.

In an SSL session (using https://), when a server asks for a certificate to verify that you are who you say you are, the chosen certificate is saved in a cache. The chosen certificate can remain in the cache until you restart your computer. Clicking the Clear SSL State button removes all certificates from the cache without having to restart your computer.

 Dial-Up Pops up When opening Internet browser.

Check with customer if they are using Dial-Up connection or any other. If it is not Dial-Up, then make sure that Never Dial A Connection is selected under the Connections Tab.

 Correcting Advanced Internet Options Settings.

Normally clicking on Restore Advanced Settings corrects the options listed there. But scroll down the list and make sure that under security setting, SSL 2 and 3 are also checked.
